Japan might be best known for its bullet trains, anime and sushi, but the Land of the Rising Sun is also responsible for numerous sports cars that frequently rivaled some of Europe’s best and, more recently, ignited a whole generation of car enthusiasts through mediums like Gran Turismo.
And now, here’s the chance to inspire the next generation of enthusiasts by entering your iconic Japanese car into our Classic Motorsports Amelia Island Kickoff.
More than that, consider our Amelia Island Kickoff–our annual celebration marking the start of the Amelia concours weekend–as a rare opportunity to have your car on display during one of the most famous concours weekends in the classic car world.
On March 6, join us as we fill Amelia Island’s Main Beach Park with some of the automotive world’s finest and most desirable cars.
Vehicle entry is $45, and all cars must preregister.
Car clubs are welcome, too, provided they make arrangements with our staff in advance by emailing us at AmeliaIsland@ClassicMotorsports.com.
Just want to view the show without entering a car? Unlike many events during the Amelia concours weekend, spectator entry is free.
We’ll also be sharing the showfield with the (in)famous Concours d’Lemons, the “un-concours” that celebrates terrible examples of great cars and great examples of terrible cars.
The Amelia Island Kickoff is made possible with car blocks presented by National Parts Depot, in association with Griot’s Garage and Hagerty, with a special thank you to the city of Fernandina Beach for making this event possible.
